DAY 1: CASABLANCA - RABAT - CHEFCHAHOUEN
The 8 day tour from Casablanca to Merzouga Desert start When you arrive at
Casablanca airport, you will meet our professional driver /guide. Depending on your
arrival time, you will visit Casablanca the economic capital of Morocco with a
local guide.
The tour begins through its broad avenues, stroll through the narrow streets of the
medina, the Place Mohammed V, the residential district of Anfa, Boulevard of the
Corniche, restaurants, and the Hassan II Mosque. As it is the second-largest mosque in
the world and indeed a beautiful work of art, it is one of the rare mosques opened to
Muslims and to non-Muslims.
After that we will go to Rabat the capital politics of morocco, it overlooks the sea,
we will see the crenelated red ocher walls, more than 5 km long, built in the period of
ruling the sultan Yacoub el-Mansour, which gives the rabat a very extraordinary
character that distinguishes it. Then we will drive to Chefchaouen and we will stay
there for dinner and overnight in Riad or Hotel depending on your choice.
DAY 2: CHEFCHAHOUEN - VOLUBILIS - MEKNES - FES
After your breakfast, you will have a small tour in Chefchaouen to explore one of the
most beautiful cities in Morocco and a stunning village at the side of the Rif
Mountains. Chefchaouen's medina has a Spanish-style square surrounded by a lot of funky
arts stores, roof-top restaurants, and cafes.
Then we visit the ancient Roman ruins of Volubilis and spend a little time exploring
the 2000-year-old ruins and getting a picture of life during the Roman
Empire. Our driver will take you to visit the miracles of Meknes, a
city acclaimed for its 16 miles of the defensive divider. we will visit the Moulay
Ismail Mosque and the former royal stables and granaries. we will reach Fez in the
evening for dinner and overnight.
DAY 3: FES GUIDED TOUR
After your breakfast, you will meet your local guide who will show you the hidden
places of Fez and make you go deeper into Fez's old medina. You will explore the medina
and the popular Souks of Fes - its narrow-cobbled streets are filled with ancient
mosques and towering green-glazed minarets. You will visit the most attractive palaces
and monuments of Fes. The tour will include a visit to the tannery and the ceramics
cooperative to see the traditional Moroccan crafts. Overnight in Riad including bed and
breakfast.
DAY 4: FES - IFRANE - MIDELT - ERFOUD - RISSANI - MERZOUGA
Today we will drive to Ifrane, usually called by the Switzerland of Morocco, including
a stop at Azrou to take some pictures of Berber monkeys village in the cedar forest. we
continue to Midelt and Erfoud. we stop in Rissani. Then we will arrive in Merzouga, and
you will prepare for your desert camel ride. An experienced camel guide will guide you
in this desert trek.
You will explore the desert during your camel ride, and once you reach the desert in
Merzouga camp, you will enjoy dinner around a campfire with Berber music, and you will
stay overnight in desert camp.
DAY 5: MERZOUGA - RISSANI - TODGHA GORGE - DADES GORGES
Today in the morning early, we will see desert sunrise in Merzouga up dunes. After
breakfast, you will ride camels back to the village to meet your driver, and we will
drive towards Rissani, Tinghir, and you will explore the canyon in Todgha Gorge. It is
the highest, narrowest gorges in Morocco, and you can enjoy hiking within the amazing
valley here. Then we drive towards the Dades Valley where we stay in a local hotel and
enjoy the dinner for this night.
DAY 6: DADES GORGES - AIT BENHADDOU - TIZI N'TICHKA - MARRAKECH
After having a delicious breakfast in the Riad, your day will start by visiting the
beautiful rock formations of Dades gorges (monkeys fingers). Then drive beside the
valley of roses to arrive at Kalaa M'gouna, Skoura. Then and you will arrive in
Ouarzazate, identified as the Hollywood of Africa, and stop in the atlas film studios.
Next to the UNESCO world heritage site named Kasbah Ait Benhaddou” rated since
1986.
Ait Benhaddou Kasbah is one of many famous spots that served as a natural decoration
for multiple movies such as Alexender, Gladiator, Babel…''.
After the visit, you have lunch in a local restaurant. In the afternoon, we will drive
to the red town of Marrakech, passing through the Tizi N'tichka pass (2260 m in
altitude). Arrive at Marrakech and Drop off in your accommodation.
DAY 7: MARRAKECH - SIGHTSEEING
In the 7th of our 8 day Tour From Casablanca to Merzouga. After the breakfast in the
riad, we begin our visit to Marrakech, which was founded in the XII century by the
Almoravidian dynasty. We will visit the common important cultural and historical
heritage. You will have a big chance to explore Saadiyin Tomb, Majorelle Gardens,
Koutoubia Mosque (Tower). Moreover, our guide will lead you to view Bahia square, the
Souk of the city.
Then you go to join the legendary square of the medina where you will see and discover
the fascinating serpent's magician, funny seminars” where some expert or humorous
people tell fabulous jokes. In the evening, you will have free time to walk around and
explore other places in the city by yourself.
DAY 8: MARRAKECH - CASABLANCA
The end of your tour from Casablanca to Merzouga. Transfer to the airport (Marrakech or
