Itinerary:
Day1: Marrakech-Atlas Mountains-Ait Ben Haddou-Ouarzazate-Roses valley-Dades Valley
Dear clients, our driver will pick you up at 08:00 am from your accommodation (hotel, hostel, or Riad) to start the program (3 days Sahara trip) from Marrakech to the Dades Valley a crossing Tizi-n-Tichka pass (the highest point in North Africa 2260M) in the Atlas Mountains, with far-reaching views across the mountains, to the traditional Berber villages. Then you will continue to visit the Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou the UNESCO World Heritage site and have lunch at one of the restaurants at the foothills of the Kasbahs. Then we continue to Dades Valley through Skoura and Rose valley (Kalaa M’gouna), you will spend the night in a traditional Riad in Dades.
Day2: Dades Valley-Tinghir-Tinjdad-Erfoud-Merzouga
After a quiet night in Dades valley, we will drive to the Erg Chebbi at Merzouga. Berber villages and kasbahs are scattered along the way. We’ll pass through Tinghir(the Jewish capital in the past), to visit Todra Valley, Tinjdad, and Erfoud in which we’ll feel the beginning of the desert oasis of Tafilalet. And then we will continue to Merzouga.
After relaxing a few minutes in the hotel, you will take some of your staff in a small bag, just the necessary things for riding camels (water, scarf, glasses, camera) and a jeep will take the other luggage to your tent, then you start your camel’s adventure crossing the dunes, this is a great opportunity to take lovely pictures of the sunset. When we reach the camp you will leave the camels and you will do sandboarding and to watch the sunset, you will spend the night in a camp with drumming music in the middle of the desert.
Day3: Merzouga-Alnif-Tazarine-N’kob-Agdez-Ouarzazate-Marrakech
On the last day of your trip. You will wake up early to see the magical sunrise from the top of the dunes, Breakfast will be served in the tent, and take a shower. Then you will have two options (ride a camel or take a 4×4 back to the hotel in Merzouga. After being done with Merzouga sightseeing, we will drive to Marrakech through Berber villages (Alnif, Tazarine, Draa valley, and Agdez). In Ouarzazate, we will have time for lunch. Afterward, we will continue to your accommodation. Late afternoon arrival to Marrakech, drop off at your Riad or hotel with amazing stories and unforgettable memories in your mind.
